Brenda Parshotam
For the last 10 years, Brenda Parshotam has been the Director of Life Impact Strategies Ltd, an HR Consulting and Strategic Change Management organisation.
During this time, Brenda has worked with a large variety of people and organisations, great and small. Her conviction is that if an organisation with clear direction and purpose can attract the minds and hearts of its people, it is on the road to significance and greatness in every sphere of its operation.
Brenda is fully conversant with the complexities of doing business today. Prior to setting up Life Impact she was the New Zealand Human Resources Director for a large multi-national company which quickly grew in New Zealand from revenues of $11m to $110m and staff numbers moving from 150 to 1600 in the space of a few years.
Such rapid growth provided hands on experience in a wide variety of issues dealing with people and organisations in a climate of change. This, coupled with Brenda’s personal strength, vision and energy, position her at the forefront of those able to make a positive impact on the life of any individual, group or organisation. Her presence on that company’s Worldwide Senior Human Resource Management Team, involved in the design and delivery of global HR initiatives, also provided Brenda with a clear understanding of the people issues facing international companies today.
In July 2000 Brenda qualified as an Associate Trainer in Emotional Intelligence with 6Seconds, a USA-based educational service organisation providing training and materials for the development of emotional intelligence. She uses the fundamentals of EQ extensively in the areas of leadership development, conflict resolution and personal growth, knowing people can do anything in life they set their mind to, provided it is powered by their heart.
Steve Farrelly
Meet a man on a mission to save companies thousands of dollars by ensuring they are aware of their legal responsibilities towards their staff.
His competent presentation style - humorous rhetoric reinforced by flawless logic and a wonderfully creative approach - is delivered in that distinctive "take no prisoners" voice. He is comfortable both in the corporate business world and in the domains of the self employed and small business sector.
Steve has 20 years experience in the NZ Police, completing his service as a Detective Sergeant in the Company Fraud Squad. Since leaving the Police he has been involved in many areas including Private Investigations and the last ten years as a consultant with Life Impact Strategies Limited involved in successfully taking employment disputes to the Department of Labour Mediations Services.
Steve became involved in Event Management through contacts made in the Business arena with the methodical systematical skills obtained in his Police career.
One of the bi products with working along-side companies was assisting them with their marketing print and web material and the creating of relationships with various print and design companies. A close relationship was formed with Method Design and a sample of the work carried out during this relationship will be included on this website soon.
